this is not what i got delivered
i have been using the Xerus rogue for 15 years and now when i ordered you sent me clear bottle spray. i do not like this one. something is missing not like the original red bottle. Its misleading.

Great Addition to Xeryus!
Since Xeryus is one of my all time favorite colognes, bright, fresh, citrussy and clean. Truly an outstanding cologne for men. So I wanted to try Xeryus Rouge. At first the scent left me a little disappointed, strong but a little put off. But as it dried it took on a completely different scent. A very sexy, seductive like scent that stays with you all night. When I got up in the morning, the first thing I smelled was Xeryus Rouge. I was hooked. This is a beautiful cologne for romantic evenings or for someone who wants to attract attention. Like Xeryus, Xeryus Rouge is a true man's cologne. A+++++ Love it!!!

Pah! to the odd critic Xeryus Rouge is and will remain GREAT
Used since it was launched in the mid 90s and it still works its magic today only it has to do so with a great deal more effort than it did 20+ years ago. It was commented on as recently as last week - very favourably by a very nice lady who actually caused her companion to come and sniff my collar - fortunately her companion was also a lady! If it has a fault I have not found one except maybe that I am too attached to it - it is very much my signature smell. Long may it remain so.

Bought this because it had been reviewed as a bit of an eccentric but amazing fragrance, and because Givenchy doesn't make it anymore. Definitely different and maybe a bit dated, but very complex and unique. I'd say better for evening wear, maybe during the day in the fall and winter. Punches you in the face with a juicy spicy citrus then dries down into a sort of smooth aquatic heat.
