Noir Exquis Perfume by L'artisan Parfumeur, Apply Noir Exquis to your pressure points and you find yourself transported to a lush, fragrant forest. This perfume is an Oriental vanilla fragrance with unisex appeal. Bright top notes of orange and chestnut begin the scent journey before giving way to a rich heart accord of maple sap, orange blossom and coffee. A complex base of sandalwood, vanilla, ebony, heliotrope and tonka bean round out the fragrance and invite those around you to lean in closer. Launched in 2015, this eau de parfum spray comes packaged in an elegant, golden-hued flacon with black accents.

L’Artisan Parfumeur was founded in 1970 and has become one of the most sought-after brands for discerning perfume connoisseurs. Despite forgoing traditional advertising, the company’s perfumes can be found in most high-end boutiques and perfume counters. This fragrance was created by master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. Duchaufour is a long-time nose for the brand and has also designed fragrances for such luxury designers as Givenchy, Comme des Garcons and Christian Dior. Hey, everyone. Cess here. And today, I'll be reviewing Noir Exquis by L'Artisian Perfumeur. This unisex blend is a warm, spicy, sweet one, and first launched in 2015. It has a definite, warm, wintery vibe, opening with notes of chestnut and orange, before leaning into maple sap, coffee, and just a hint of orange blossom in the heart. And vanilla, tonka, ebony, sandalwood, and heliotrope in the base. I think it would be a great scent for a holiday party, or just for curling up by the fire with a loved one. That's all for now. Love this

This arrived in the clear bottle, not the newer green one, just FYI. On first spray you get a wonderful light blend of orange and chestnut, which is lovely. Once it settles in you get a lightly spiced vanilla. This has lasted for hours on me, and I have a hard time getting anything to last more

Nice!

I would definitely purchase but it leans mor masculine. Zadig & Voltaire this is her is this fragrance but feminine and more sweeter. But the bottle I got smelled off like it was old.

Soft and Spicy

I love the way this scent smells. A classically warm and spicy scent. Smells heavenly, but it doesn't have any staying power. I even used it over a spicy scented lotion to see if it would help but not that much. I was reapplying hour one! For the price, it should last longer.

SWEET CREAMY RICH COFFEE

This is a dry, rich, nutty, sweet and gourmand coffee fragrance. It's quite heavy hence more suitable for colder days and maybe nighttime.

Amazing and intoxicating fragrance! I get SO many compliments whenever I wear this. It's a warm, sexy, sensual scent. I love it!

Luke warm about this one

This was a blind buy. It turns out that Noir Exquis goes strongly vanilla on me, with an undertone of PlayDough. I have a bottle of Philosophy's Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere and to me, on me, this smells very much the same as the Philosophy scent. So, meh. Clearly, there's something about this type of scent that appeals to me, but all in all, I probably could have skipped it. I don't regret the purchase, and FrangranceX did a great job getting it to me.

Beware!! this is the new packaging

False advertising. I was shipped the new packaging even though the old packaging is being advertised. I purchase at least 1-2 times per month from this site but this is the second time this has happened with an item I purchased, very disappointing
