If you don't put it on fairly thick in the morning you won't be able to smell it by lunch. However if you put on a good 4 spray's it's overpowering for a half hour or so and then becomes more mild and lasts all day

Surprisingly elegant scent
Lacoste fragrances always surprise me. I figured that they would smell green and sporty, but they are always well-rounded and nail their intention. "Black" or "Noir" fragrances tend to be sensual night-time scents and that's exactly what this is. I feel like it's a man in Gotham city would wear to Bruce Wayne's party. Bruce would wear something extravagant and enticing; this is for the guy who thinks he's just another gentleman... but is dead wrong. They may have come for Bruce, but they're leaving with him.

nice product but....
It's a nice product but I tried this fragrance in a official retailer before buying and loved the smell but the one I got smelled bad at first then came ok but doesn't smell as good as the one at the retailer. I'm not sure this is the original but passes ok.

Personally this is an all around great cologne, however I like to use it on those cool to mildy hot days, and for me it just pairs right with some humidity in the air, oh and be prepared to get looks; it quite subtley catches the smell senses of those who pass by, I am impressed, well played Lacoste. 2 sprays works perfect for me, Good luck on your search.
