Double Nostalgia
To be honest, I don't wear this fragrance often these days. I bought it several years ago when it had first come out. Back then it had a lot of the chocolate cosmos scent and sillage that would leave a trail of fragrance that would linger for upwards of minutes. Recently, I was feeling nostalgic for the scent and wished to have a bottle to relive my glory days as a femme fatale. Alas, somehow the aforementioned aspects of this perfume have changed, much like myself. Both of us have become subtler and the sillage seems to have shortened so that I have to put my nose right up to my skin to smell the dry down (this may have something to do with the fact that I decanted it to a roll-on before wearing it). On one hand, it means that I can wear it without embarrassment these days, but on the other hand, I've come up in the world since the days that it was my one of my signature scents (along with Tom Ford's Black Orchid) and now I have many, many more bottles of much, much more expensive perfumes to chose from, so this one gets overlooked. Still, if you're an up-and-coming young lady who wishes to create an air of sophistication and sensual around herself, I would recommend this fragrance. It intrigues and attracts men and women alike. Were it not discontinued I'm sure that in 50 years it would have gained a reputation as the scent of of a woman with intelligence, glamor, and hustle.

Happy to find my favorite discontinued scent!

ignoramus me.
I was given this as a gift on my 45th bday. After a year, I did some review, and I was foolish to realize it is pour femme!!! Been using it on special occasions and no one, told me I smell like a lady! Or perhaps they dont want to embarass me. I told my wife who is not also particular with fragrances, and she said, well it is jhst alright. I still have 30% left. What do u think? Still use it? Hahaha. Lesson learned: google what u wear. ELEGANT, ALLURING, SOPHISTICATED!
I wear this fragrance when I wish to make an entrance. It makes me appear as a woman of strength,conviction, passion and a hint of mystery. I think it is very seductive, and would have been very appealing to Humphrey Bogart, an actor whose characters usually have great charm and who fall for strong women. Ir is only for the woman with the power and sophistication to carry it off. Another thing I like about it is that it is difficult to find. You will rarely find another woman of style and stature who competes with the same fragrance. I think there are many woman who are intimidated by the power of the initial spray who do not know to wait until the fragrance dries before judging it. Even then they may not understand it. This eau de parfum takes a special woman with the confidence to wear it.

To those whom say Notorious doesn't hold
Those whom think Notorious doesn't last, I am sorry to say it's not for you. I buy Notorious for my fiance' all the time and she showers and puts it on at about 6am and I still smell it at 9pm when we go to bed. You may not be able to smell it but trust me others do. I am sad that Ralph has chosen to discontinue it.

Love It!
I loved this perfume from day one. I don't wear it everyday anymore, as I am a stay at home mom. But when I worked in the office I would switch between this fragrance and two others. This was by far my favorite. I have had my bottle (2.5 oz for two years now and it is still half full). One spritz for the day/evening and you will get rave reviews from both men and women.

Smell like a femme fatale
Image yourself as Ava Gardner in The Killers (1946) with Burt Lancaster? This is the scent for you. It smells sexy and dangerous, bordering on masculine. After dry-down there is a distinct animalistic scent. It is probably way too daring to wear in the daytime to the office.

Not as good as I had expected
I got this perfume expecting it to be as good as glamorous by RL, but I was very disappointed to find out it was not as good. In fact, I feel it smells like the perfume an older woman would wear, not fresh and captive. I don't really like the perfume. If you like flowery scents, there are better ones out there.

I love the smell of this fragrance, but I find that the scent doesn't last for long. I love the smell so much though that I am going to order the lotion to see if that helps to extend the scent. BTW, It also took a while for it to arrive to me, 11-12 business days.

I loved this until I had worn it for a few hours. The scent started out as woodsy and spicy and I really loved it, but within a couple hours had changed to a sweet flowery scent which I did not like. Could be just on me that it changes, as that has happened to me with other perfumes - but I suggest you try a sample before buying a large bottle.

Most drawn compliments ever
This perfume is irrisistable for men. I wore it at night and I got endless compliments from the guys about how good I smell. It's very unique and different. At first I didn't like the uniquness of it, but when I got all the compliments from men, I'll not leave at night without it.
