I first bought Safari in 1990, I fell in love with the fragrance. Had I known it was going to be so popular, I would have bought more. I was at the Daytona Flea Market and they had it, it was a mark off brand, horrible! Nothing like the real thing. Love it.

What happened?
Memories of this fragrance are that it was a rich, deep, long lasting oriental/floral. I believe it's been reformulated since the 90's. The colour is much lighter then the amber colour it used to be - also, the scent smells artificial/chemical not at all like the original.

Not like the originak
I used to buy this safari for women and loved and was sad they discontinued it. So I was happy to fi d it here. Unfortunately it's nothing like the original.. S.ells more like alcohol. Spent over $100 for a bottle of alcohol. So sad.

I only have praise for this scent. You can never go wrong. Safari gives you confidence to be whom ever you wish to be. A little cheeky, Definitely confident. But also a little sad, because wearing Safari helps you over the blues. Cannot believe I can still get this favorite!
This product is no longer available from manufacturer so I am thrilled to get it from FragranceX..I keep saying that this is the last time I will order but keep being drawn back to this unique scent. This isn't the real Safari that I used to buy and wear all the time! This Safari lasted 15 minutes and was gone😢 I'm very disappointed with this purchase as I have about four favorite scents I wear year around and Safari is one of them but not this bottle this was a waste of my hard earned money!

Obviously suits me...have used only Safari for over 15years and has become hard to get...that being said a search of the internet generally finds it at Fragrance X. the fragrance always draws comments summer and winter, at the being of the day as well as at the end.
