Nowhere near similar to Black Orchid. If you came for Black Orchid and bought this thinking it an inspired related scent, don't bother. This is more like potpourri.

I was disappointed with this one. At first the fragrance seems to be more on a man side and to sweet and strong. Spray it and the fragrance is gone. No one can smell it and smell doesn't linger on the skin. It fells like good cheep perfume and a dope for original.

Complex, sensual
This was my first Tom Ford perfume, I was a bit nervous it would be overpowering and garrish. However, the first minute was a bit sharp and I panicked a bit, but within a few minutes it was more complex and interesting, soft nuances and a bit bold at the same time. This is the first perfume I have owned that went through very distinct phases, and certain notes really shined. The scent stays fairly close to the skin, I don't feel like it would leave a trail clinging after me, but just enough for other people to get a whiff of something pleasant. I got some caramel notes as well, but no sickenly sweet notes. This wasn't a dark scent, but it flirts with being one. This was a blind buy, and I am happy with it. I think this would be a great date night scent in the cooler months. I haven't worn it in the heat, I think it might be too much in the wrong way in the heat. I would definitely try another Tom Ford scent and see why people like this brand.

It's kind of hard to describe. It's floral and slightly spicy and powdery all at once. Which is kind of hard to do. But I like it. And my Boyfriend loves it on me. I feel as if it doesn't last very long though. Its not strong at all.

This scent is very warm and soft. To previous reviewer, Haya, just send the perfume back for a refund and buy it someplace else. For some reason, there isn't much of a discount for this particular fragrance anyway.
