Our Favorite Celebrity Outfits of 2022

It’s been a big year for celebrity outfits and our best dressed 2022 list just keeps on growing. With all of our favorite award ceremonies and festivals back in full swing and plenty of new trends appearing, it’s fair to say that fashion has never been so fun.

Taylor Swift certainly dressed to impress when she arrived at the MTV European Music Awards wearing this one-of-a-kind bejeweled David Koma dress. This cascading outfit featured handmade silver and green crystals with emeralds inspired by the late Queen Elizabeth II. 

After winning four awards (Best Artist, Best Video, Best Pop, and Best Longform Video) Taylor swapped for a second David Koma look with metallic tones. We’d pick a sparkling fragrance like Diamonds & Emeralds by Elizabeth Taylor to suit this look.

2. Lil Nas X in Balmain on the 2022 Grammys

Lil Nas X undoubtedly stole the crown for many of the best celebrity outfits of 2022 and this custom Balmain look might steal the overall top spot. With a distinct armor-like pattern, Lil Nas X went all out with a quilted white Balmain suit and blue eyeshadow to finish it off.

Not one to shy away from an outfit change, he swapped for an ornate silver crop top while performing “Montero”. A suave cologne to match this fabulous outfit is Euphoria by Calvin Klein.

3. Kim Kardashian in Barbie Pink Balenciaga at the Baby2Baby Gala 

Barbie doll fashion hit new heights when Kim Kardashian arrived at the Baby2Baby Gala in a bright Pink Balenciaga dress. With her signature bodycon style and beautiful curves, Kim stunned the audience with a matching Balenciaga miniature purse and some vibrant pink pointed heels to match. 

Her slicked-back blonde hair just added to the Barbie theme. We’d pick a sweet perfume to pair with this look like Prada Candy.

4. Harry Styles Wearing Gucci at Coachella

When Harry Styles arrived on stage wearing this sequin-covered Gucci look, we fell in love with his unique style all over again. Not only did Harry make international headlines for his fun-loving performance on the Empire Polo Club festival stage, but he also garnered plenty of attention for this iconic jumpsuit. 

Harry paired the look with Gucci loafers, flashy rings, and black nail varnish. Iconic? Always! We’d choose a powerful, heady scent for this look like Ck One Summer.

5. Rihanna at The Dior fall 2022 show at Paris Fashion Week

We haven’t seen much of Rihanna at 2022’s biggest event ceremonies this year as she’s mostly been busy with her pregnancy. But she did show up at the Dior fall 2022 show at Paris Fashion Week in a daring maternity lingerie set. Living up to her “Bad Gal” Instagram name, RiRi rocked up wearing a sheer black chemise with lacy underwear and a look of pure confidence. 

Is Rihanna one of the best dressed celebrities of the year for this outfit alone? Most definitely! We like to think she’d spritz something sultry with this look, like Crystal Noir by Versace.

6. Zendaya in Valentino at The 2022 Emmy Awards

Zendaya took Hollywood glamor to new heights in this stunning Valentino gown. Rumored to have been made in a single week, this iconic black dress stole the spotlight even before Zendaya won the Outstanding Lead Actress award. 

With its corset bodice and peplum design, the Euphoria star fused together classic fashion trends with a widely-regarded seal of approval for being one of the best dressed celebrities of the night. A gorgeous black dress like this needs a stylish scent to round it off, like Chanel 19.

7. Lizzo at the BET Awards

Lizzo made Damn Sure we’d always remember her outfit for this year’s BET Awards. Channeling disco ball chic with feathers, sparkles, and ruched detailing, she wore a custom navy Gucci lurex gown with retro-inspired black platform heels. 

Lizzo’s matching black headpiece also got a lot of attention with its intricate, curled details. While many celebrities’ best red carpet dresses may lean into the all-black theme, Queen Lizzo undoubtedly did it best this time. We’d pick a jaw-dropping scent to match like Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo.
