Our Favorite Outfits From Stranger Things Season 4 (and the perfumes they make us think of)
The Stranger Things cast continue to keep us in a chokehold with all of the drama happening in Hawkins and we’re waiting in anticipation for season five to be released.
For the time being, we’re making do with re-watching Season 4 of Stranger Things to admire each character’s iconic style once again. Those ’80s fashion looks are no doubt responsible for half of the outfits we’ve been wearing this year, so we thought it was about time we matched up each of them with a signature scent.
Read on for all of our favorite Stranger Things outfits and the scents to pair with each one!
1. Eleven’s Tomboy Style: Chloe Nomade
No one does Tomboy vibes quite like Eleven, and her laid-back looks come infused with a heavy dose of ’80s charm. While her style changed throughout the seasons, Eleven kept her cool, carefree looks consistent with a dash of femininity and contrasting shades.
With her vintage graphic tees, baggy mom jeans, and oversized flannel shirts, Eleven’s timeless style truly never goes out of fashion. So we’ve chosen Chloe Nomade by Chloe to match that “always in style” approach.
This woody, citrus, and fruity scent is a perfect day to day fragrance that fits in seamlessly with whatever activities are in the cards. It’s a fun-loving perfume with enough longevity to still breathe-in its last notes of oakmoss, amberwood, and patchouli at the end of the day.
2. Nancy and Robin’s Young Professional Look: Calvin Klein Eternity Moment
The young-professional style is the avowed property of teen queen Nancy Wheeler. With her main character energy and classy looks to match, we’ve been taking style notes from both Nancy and Robin since the Stranger Things world first began.
Mixing ’80s chic with their DIY accessories and vintage elements throughout, Nancy and Robin stole almost as much attention for their outfits as they did for their breathtaking storylines. Those delicate jewels, wool coats, and tailored ensembles could only be paired with a classically feminine scent.
So — we’ve chosen Calvin Klein’s Eternity Moment for Nancy and Robin. This soft, light, floral scent combines fresh and fruity notes with an underlying flower-filled theme. A perfect scent for the working week, it breathes new life with its notes of litchi, pomegranate blossom, water lily, and Chinese pink peony.
3. Max’s Cas-Letic Comfort: Tommy Hilfiger Tommy Girl
Max’s style may have changed a lot throughout her appearances in Stranger Things, but she’s retained two core themes throughout: casual and athletic. So, from now on, we’ll be calling Max’s own unique sense of fashion, “casletic”.
She’s by no means the most conventional of girls. A few of her hobbies (and fashion choices) definitely skew far away from the norm. But that’s just another reason why we love Max so much. Her consistent look, made up of a striped top, blue jeans, sneakers, and a hoodie, makes Max’s style easy to replicate.
We’ve chosen Tommy Hilfiger’s Tommy Girl to pair with Max’s outfits. This deliciously well-blended scent is versatile, with balanced floral, citrus, and fruity notes. It’s not overly feminine, making it a great choice for a tomboy like Max.
4. Fashion-Forward Angela’s Wardrobe: Jimmy Choo Blossom
Angela brings to life that colorful ’80s style that we know and love. Think: vibrant designs, high-rise cuts, contrasting fabrics, and plenty of energy. With a love of pink shades and lots of accessories, Angela’s high-powered persona comes to life through her stylish fashion sense.
Angela is all about confidence and that’s something you’ll easily spot in her outfits. A matching fragrance that also offers a helping boost of energy is Jimmy Choo Blossom. This gorgeous fragrance is all about red fruits and florals, blending raspberry, red berries, and citruses with a deeper, more intense heart of sweet peas and roses.
This is a rich, almost intoxicating scent that only needs to be spritzed once to enjoy its full power.
5. Mike Wheeler’s California Vibes: Clinique Happy
Think of those carefree California vibes from the ’80s and imagine them in clothing form, and you’ll start to get an idea of exactly how Mike Wheeler dresses. As the Stranger Things series has progressed, we’ve gained a deeper understanding of Mike’s own style.
Much like his energetic, cheerful personality, Mike’s fashion sense is all about bright colors and relaxed fits. So — he deserves a matching fragrance with a similar appeal. That’s why we’ve chosen Happy by Clinique. Perfect for warmer weather, this citrus-heavy cologne comes bursting at the seams with mandarin orange, lime, and lemon.
Clinique Happy’s dash of green notes and base of cypress, cedar, and musk gives it a little extra complexity.
