I bought this for my husband because he loves this cologne but I can't believe how expensive it has gotten on this website. Maybe it's because of the supply chain issues or because I bought it after the holidays, but it has gone up at least $20 since the last time I bought it. Unique smell...love it!
The opening will put off most people, I guess....including myself.....initially. I'd categorise this fragrance similar to Bentley intense and Lapidus pour homme (beast mode) by Ted Lapidus...not for everyone, including my wife. BUT the dry down for these 3 fragrances...ehmm...glad I own them in my collection since mid 90s...feel blessed with this Angel...lol...7.5/10 Longevity, min 8 hours with 5 sprays. Amen!

Decent buy for the price
the opening is harsh and even a bit abrasive due to the mess of scents in this fragrance but when it starts to dry down a bit it gives off a pleasant sweet but still masculine scent. Projection and longevity are very good and overall a good fragrance, I'd rate it a 7.5 out of 10

A-men by Thierry Mugler is a classic sweet fragrance. I bought for the first time in 2021 and feel as though Ive missed out this far. It has a very unique profile. It's sweet, warm, and a little earthy. It has an off-putting note for the first 15 minutes but I kinda enjoy that note now. If you haven't tried it yet, get it. It's with the price.

Not for Everyone
I blind bought this because it was cheap compared to other Amen, it's the original of the line, and I have Pure Malt and I absolutely love that one. I don't regret this, but it's not a versatile fragrance and I can see it turning people off. Performance is very good, so if you like it, no problems there. Definitely for colder weather only and not for times where you want to be suble. It's quite loud.

Thierry Mugler's A*Men is a great gourmand scent with a very rich, but not overpowering aroma. I get compliments all the time while wearing it, and I love the scent. My only complaint is I wish it lasted longer on my skin. It'll last more than a day on my clothes, but I usually only get a few hours on my skin. Still, I highly recommend.
