Azzaro most recently celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. In 1967, Loris Azzaro started his couture and fashion accessories brand after leaving an academic career. With his first boutique opening in Paris, France a year later, along with gaining recognition through magazine covers with models wearing his dresses, Azzaro gained fame for colorful and shiny dresses with daring styles. The first fragrance was introduced in 1975 and Azzaro Parfums, now owned by French skincare and cosmetics company Clarins, continues releasing new scents. Very good cologne.
This is one of the better Azzaro colognes. Nothing else on the market smells like it. It has intense smell. I like the way it smells on me.

Tobacco soapy
Was originally interested in the rhubarb note. It is in the opening but dissipates quickly. The dry down turns to tobacco pretty quickly, and gradually grows soapy. The soapiness stays for a long time. If you like old school fragrances this might be for you. Definitely a fall winter fragrance.

Not a bad fragrance
Subtle. Lasts 3 to 4 hours when applied correctly. Has a spicy tone to it that makes Azzaro true to its signature. So far I have not been let down by Azzaro colognes and this one makes the cut.
