I love Shalimar but, not this
I just adore it
I use mostly in cold weather. It is and fresh and gourmet at the same time, i hear some kind of chokolate in it , i think it is benzoine that gives it such a sound, i just adore it

No sensitive person can reject the scent of Shalimar.
Since forty years ago I have used Shalimar almost daily. My first bottle i "inherited" from my grandmother. From my perspective, there is no perfume that can be compared with those of Guerlain's, especially Shalimar.

I love Shalimar but, not this
I love Shalimar and it has been my favorite parfum for over 30 years. I decided to take a chance on Shalimar Soufflé Intense and I have to say, I'm not a fan. Such a disappointment to the Shalimar line. It's too citrusy and not feminine at all like Shalimar. Not a scent I would but again.

Smells like a wealthy mature woman. Very powdery, musky, with that sweet lemon throughout. Easy one for me to wear everyday, soft sillage

Nothing like the original*
This honestly isn't what I was expecting but I still like it very much. It's more citrus than Vanilla so if you're looking for a strong Vanilla presence this is not it. Still a very lovely everyday good signature scent. Fresh clean, but surprisingly warm. I get and almost La male type smell here. Not as sweet as I'd hoped for and also not gourmand which others claim. But I am glad to have this little beauty in my collection!

This is a beautiful scent. It is not the Shalimer I started wearing as a young teen, more than 60 years ago, but a wonderful substitute. Shalimar was my scent, now I have a new one, just as beautiful. I get many commitments, as in "you smell so good". This is a winner for me.
