I was given this for a Christmas gift and all I git was compliments. This is my scent. It works w my body chemistry. Its last forever. However its expensive. Im not ine to spend a lot on perfume. As I get older I find myself making these purchases. If I gotta get old... I may as well smell like a million bucks.

I love this so much
This translates to a jasmine bomb on my skin. That might sound really simple but I think that simplicity does not necessarily equate to mediocrity. On the contrary, I love this perfume like no other. It brightens up my mood and I often find myself craving it almost all the time. I've tried a couple of fragrances but it's only Dior Pure Poison that really gives me this craving. I want to smell it all the time and I'd sometimes spritz a bit on a handkerchief just so I can enjoy the scent. My only qualm about it is that it doesn't last long for an edp. On my skin, it lasts around 4 hours, much less on areas like my wrist where it comes in contact often with other objects. It can last for around 2 days on fabric though so I tend to also spray on my shirt whenever I go out. Anyway, if you're a fan of jasmine and fresh florals in general, this is something I highly recommend.

I ordered a sample of this before deciding to splurge on a full bottle, because it's definitely more than I usually spend on fragrance for myself. I'm so glad I did. I always feel "put together" when I spray this on, which is not really something I've ever experienced before. I feel like I smell like that woman you walk by while shopping and you say to yourself how great she smelled but you don't have the guts to ask what she's wearing. Is that weird? Oh well :)

My Favorite of the Recent Three Scents Purchased Recently.
I very much like the Christian Dior Line of fragrances generally. This scent, Pure Poison, is quite nice. It is lighter than "Poison" my absolute favorite of the Poison Line of fragrances, but still very feminine and not at all overpowering. It does not change radically as it is worn and in fact becomes nicely integrated as it is worn throughout one's day and evening. I would purchase this scent again.

wonderful scent but not necessarily for me
i could not find the eau de parfum of Poison by Christian Dior so I gave a try to Pure Poison... it is not what I was looking for. It is delightful and I am using it but I will not renew this purchase, it is not for me. There is nothing wrong with the scent. It is elegant but somewhat washed out. I have the strong feeling that many perfumes have a diluted scent nowadays. Even Poison does not smell like it did in 1987.

My bedtime scent
Very unique. It doesn't smell too cloying or girly. I received one compliment from an older woman. Which was nice but still... Even to my senses if worn too much it can begin to smell a bit "old womanish" to me. So, I only wear it to bed and not during the day. However, each time I get a whiff I am pleased. It dries down sweet and powdery. It doesn't last that long on me. The only reason I wouldn't recommend it to a friend is so I am the only one wearing it :-D
