I don't smell coffee at all. I think it is oud that is kind of overpowering and masking everything in this. This was a blind buy and when I first smelled the fragrance, I was SOO disappointed. But I keep giving it a chance and I have to say there is something intriguing about this, so I haven't given up on it yet. It is pretty strong and definitely long lasting.

I own two Montales - Black Oud and Oud Saffron. Heard so many great reviews about Intense Cafe. This scent has a horrible chemical smell. I live roses and coffee scents and had high hopes when I purchased this. Maybe the bottle went bad?!?. Returned it.

I can definitely smell the roses, almost too much of rose essence, but quite disappointed with the coffee scent being too weak for my own liking.

This is my 2nd bottle from Montale. I tried Roses Musk first from another retailer - not for me. The rose was too synthetic, therefore too rosey. This mix with the rose and coffee totally works. Smoothly combined roses and coffee, like coffee with creamer. Can be worn anytime, nice to have a unique but mature smelling fragrance for fun. Love it!

Love this for cold weather!
LOVE this! I bought a full bottle as a present for myself after going through a couple of samples. It's a fabulous go-to for cold weather from October through March or so. It's definitely a BIG scent and will fill a room with one or two sprays. I also love the bottle and the little stopper that keeps it from spraying accidentally.

My girlfriend loves this fragrance.
Some say this fragrance can be unisex Psshh.....not to me. The rose is way to sweet. Extremely good for the ladies though. All in all for the ladies don't think about pull the trigger on this one. It's worth it.

If you find yourself looking at this, and thinking, do I want to smell like coffee, roses, vanilla and amber? Yes you do! This is one of my favorite Montale fragrances. It's beautiful. After the initial spray- the coffee note is not the main player here, more in the background supporting the rest of the notes. It lasts a long time on me, and I love it for winter.

Cozy delicious
This fragrance smells cozy, rosy, sweet, dark and warm like milky coffee. It's a combination that has definitely been done before but this formulation is unique and blended so nicely. It's complex. A femme fatal and an attractive masculine man meet at a cafe, leaning over an intimately small table of coffee and cookies to talk. She smells like roses and vanilla, he smells like musk. The scent of coffee, and jam filled butter cookies waft up to their noses, yet food and drink remain untouched. They are lost in intense conversation. Romantic scent. I would expect the awning of this Cafe to read: Intense Cafe. Addictive!

This perfume is warm alluring, and definitely has a middle eastern vibe. I been living in Saudi Arabia for 4 years so the first thing I smelled was the Oud. The coffee scent is very faint in my opinion. I wish it were more prominent. That being said its a beautiful scent with an amazing sillage and lasting power. I literally smelled it on my arm 9 hours after spraying it on.

There is no way this teaser is original
I do not know if there is something wrong with my tester or what happened but i could not stand the smell when i sprayed it it was so bad like a alcohol blast with some vanilla and stayed the same for about two hours and disappeared and i made three of my friends try it and all said the same thing there is no way that this is OK so i got myself an official sample from the shop - I live in Kuwait so i have easy access to montale perfumes - and the tester does not smell anything like the sample. The sample smells of a sweet coffee mixed with rose and vanilla and it dries to a sweet vanilla rose with some coffee in the background and it lasts for 10 hours easily from one spray from the sample. In conclusion i will not be buying testers anymore from FragrancX.com
