Aquatic freshie at its best!
Invictus aqua is the same as the original invictus with an aquatic touch. The mid is slightly powdery due o the violet leaf but a fresh fragrance none the less. Great for daily use in the spring or summer or anytime honestly

This Cologne is very feminine. It's smells floral, and very powdery, reminds me of imitation cologne. If your into a masculine smell, do not get this. It gave me a slight headache.

If you want a more powerful smell than original invictus go with aqua.i prefer invictus because the smell is not overpowering yet fragrant.

Not the 2016 version as pictured
Picture used is for Holy Grail 2016 batch. Recieved 2018 version. Smell is ok but a little deceptive marketing used to sell more bottles.

This is for 2018 version, I ordered it hoping it's the 2016
I purchased this hoping I would receive the frosted 2016 version as advertised but I received the new 2018 version. I contemplated for a few days if I should return this, being bummed out that this isn't as advertised. But knowing this is a great fragrance too I decided to just keep it. It does smell great and has that sweet and freshness of the 2016 version but with that added floral nots of Violet do give it more depth in my opinion. It almost has a bit of a unisex vibe to it, which is not a bad thing. After my wife first smelled it she said "I would wear that". We do both enjoy some of the unisex Hemes and Tom Ford. It wears nicely in the warm summer days with decent longevity for a fresher sent. There is a lot of hype for the 2016 version and I was really bummed when they pulled it from stores. But in all, they they usually tent to improve upon a fragrance and I think that is the case with this one.
