I have read and watched a lot of reviews about this perfume and blind bought it in FragranceX. I have great trust in getting authentic perfumes in FragranceX. Layton of Parfum de Marly is fresh and fruity enough to wear in warm weather, but at the same time, warm and spicy to wear in the colder months. It is a polarizing fragrance, some may not like it, but I've come to enjoy and appreciate such well-blended scent.

Parfums de Marly Layton is the perfect balance of fruity smells melded with sweet, warm, vanilla essence. It combines a crisp summer fragrance with the warmth and earthiness of a winter fragrance. This is a very popular fragrance and I can see why. Parfums de Marly managed to perfectly balance a sweet, rich scent with a fruity, fresh scent. It's amazing how well-blended and balanced this fragrance is. It can be a signature scent, formal or for warm or cold weather. An amazing fragrance, but with surprisingly limited sillage and lasting power. That's my one main complaint is the lasting power. Other than that an amazing fragrance.

Blind buy for me, I wanted to like this one. It's very different from any other scent that i own. It reminds me of a sweet cinnamon with hint of fruity vibe. Alot going on with this scent. I would say its best suited for winter because of how powerful and the warm tone it brings. I would give it a 6/10. My girlfriend hated it. My best friend hated it as well.

Does not last long! Not worth it!
Does not last long! Bath and body works lotion last longer. I love the smell but for the price? Not too sure, I've had a sample and that lasted 12 hours plus easily! But now that I pulled the trigger and have the full bottle, it's very disappointing. Very dissatisfied and unfortunately I can not recommend this or even the site. Trust me I want to say good things but hopefully it will help someone else.

Worthy of the hype
Layton gets a ton of hype in the fragrance community and for good reason. Really easy to wear and has a ton of notes to it. It lasts all day on my skin and will stay on clothes for days. If I am going to give anything a negative it would be the presentation. The bottle and cap are nice but at over $300 retail for 125ml I would expect a nicer box presentation. That ding is insignificant in the grand scheme I would say the value is still there.

A must for any man's collection
Smells amazing from the first spray until hours later. It's not overpowering. You'll get compliments every time you wear it as long as you don't over spray it. I think 3 sprays max is the key. You can wear this for any occasion, but because of the price, I wouldn't suggest wearing it as an every day smell. I'd keep it for any occasion you want to smell and feel like French Royalty lol.

Fantastic and long lasting scent but.....
Overall the fragance has a great smell and it last about 8 hours. The only reason I would not recomment buying this fragance is that there is no way to validate the Lot code at the bottom of the bottle. I tried to verify if this is an original fragance but I didn't succed eventhough I've heard that fragancex is a valid website.

This stuff is amazing!
It seems like every fragrance i buy just doesn't last on my skin. PDM Layton stays on my skin all day! This stuff is the real deal! The only time I'd say this stuff doesn't work is when its extremely hot out. Otherwise it's game on!

Blind Buy and I like it. Heard so much about Parfums De Marly so I had to blind buy as all the testers on websites were out of this particular "Layton". I would wear it to anywhere except to the office. Its very long lasting. I prefer my fragrances to be able to be smelled by myself throughout the day. It's nice if others can smell it too but if I can't even smell it while I'm wearing one, then what's the point? You can tell the ingredients are very expensive. I will have to try the others that house of Marly has to offer. Yummy. Enjoy.
