A very powerful scent that definitely draw attention. Don't over spray indoors. Beautifully balanced all the quality of scents into one bottle, darker and manlier than original Layton. Holds well on a very confident person. Can be a little over powering. Not recommended for someone into fresher scent.

Absolutely amazing scent, it's pricy and I'd almost purchased it from FX, my go-to online bargain shop, until by chance, I discovered it can be had for more than $100 less (4.2oz) elsewhere. What gives FX? Would recommend, but not at FX's overinflated price point.

Bought it blind and all I can say is; wow. Very impressed. First time using FragranceX and met my expectations all around. Fragrance is definitely authentic. I would go so far as to say there's no way somebody could not like this frag in my opinion. Definitely more of an evening/special occasion fragrance. It is however very wearable as a signature scent being that it is not too "loud" - not to be confused with lack of performance. Would definitely recommend.

I was disappointed
Never got a chance to wear. Usually I love everything I buy from Parfums de Marly. I loved the smell of this but had to return it because the cap was totally broken. But PDM remains one of my favorite houses.

Blind buy I grew to love
This fragrance took a few wears to grow on me, but now I look forward to spraying it on. It gets pretty sweet and cloying if sprayed too much and out in the heat, but if used lightly and out of the sun it's amazing!

This is like the older more mature and refined version of Layton that will garner you just as many compliments. The open is more sharp and more sophisticated and the dry down smells like a mixture between a romantic evening and business professional.

Great Scent
While similar to the original Layton (has the same DNA for the most part) this one dries down to a little more earthy. I love the scent but feel like if you own the original it's not different enough to own both. This one is definitely more for evening or special occasions and not quite as versatile as the original in my opinion but still a great scent. If you are looking for a more refined version of the original for special occasions this is a good buy.

Fantastic offering from Parfums De Marly
Absolutely amazing offering from the house. Starts out similar to Layton but transforms into a beautiful roasted coffee bean/chocolate fragrance. Opening lasts about an hour on my skin, drydown for about 6-8 hours. Only downside to me is that it doesnt come in a larger size.
