The court of King Louis Xv is the inspiration for Parfums de Marly as the company seeks to reconnect with the fragrances from the 18th century. The business’s name is inspired by a sculpture called The Marly Horses. Julien Sprecher started the company, and from an early age he expressed an interest in perfumery. Before he began his own business venture, he worked for his family selling fragrances in Asia and the Middle East. All products are original, authentic name brands. Surprisingly Good!
I typically shy away from tuberose scents—they are headache-inducing and honestly are typical notes of old-style perfumery. Not this one though! It's a very modern take on tuberoses that's soooo good. The balsamic and slightly oriental notes in the perfume take it there. Well blended!
