Nice but different than what I was expecting
It's a nice light fragrance, but not what I was hoping for. I'm a fan of the original Zen and that's what I was hoping this would be. I find the fragrance to be citrusy and herbal, with a heavy emphasis on tea notes. I've been wearing it as a daytime fragrance and I think that's the best time for it.

The same uplifting scent as when I bought it in the '70s!
I used "Zen" by Shiseido when I was in university in the '70s, right through law school in the late '80s! I purchased this immediately after seeing it listed with "FragranceX"! It's still the fresh, light scent that I remember, too! I wear it when I'm going out in the day, evening and even if I'm at home! It's soft fragrance is calming "for the soul". It blends perfectly with my chemistry and this is certainly no knockoff!! I'll be purchasing this again!! Love this!!

Better than I expected
I enjoy the opening of the scent but the dry down is absolutely enticing. The performance isn't as good as I anticipated but the fact that it compliments my natural scent this much gives it more life and dimension.

I actually found out about this from a YouTube influencer, so needless to say this is a blind buy for me. I was nervous that I'm not gonna like it but I was so mistaken. It is a glorious scent, classy , not too loud , not too quiet, it's just perfect . Currently my work perfume and my daily scent. That's how much I love it. Projection is average , lasting power on my skin is a good 5hrs , it stayed on my clothes the whole day , plus nobody else smells like me 😊. FragranceX delivered in a timely manner and the perfumes are all sealed and packaged properly . Brilliant
It's brilliant. Fresh fruity floral and bright. To me is really ZEN. Does ir smell like CM from Chanel? I would say No, it does not. There is a reseamblance in the dry down from thE patchouli and the similar flower notes but ZEN has its own personality. Luscious, sensuous, bright, uplifting and a gorgeous fragrance for summer. I am happy a took a leap and bought it blindly. I love to have it in my collection and I see myself using it a lot this summer and coming back for more.

This is one of those scents that has contradictions. Fresh yet substantial. Great day or signature scent and appropriate for work yet it's more than just an average freshy. Could carry you through spring/summer/fall. Can't stop sniffing myself. This is one of the best designer scents out there, and a great value.

I saw this fragrance on one of Demi Rawlings yt videos and I must say, I'm highly impressed. To me it smells like pineapple, roses and wet sand. Weird right? It's honestly a beautiful and complex fragrance and I would recommend for anyone that's into clean & floral scents.

Bought this because of Demi Rawling's recommendation. It wasn't love at first sniff, to be honest. Maybe I expected it to be as "bright" as Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. But it smells good! Something fruity, fresh and light. Perfect for hot weather use. Scent stays close to the skin. Very long-lasting! Lasted for more than 3 hours on my skin which is great because I have acidic skin. Happy with this blind-buy!

This could easily be a cheaper dupe for coco mademoiselle. There's an earthy freshness to it that allows this to be worn at any time of the day. I can see this being a signature scent because it's not overpowering, yet there's a unique quality to it.

THE BEST PERFUME OUT THERE FOR ME
My absolute fav! First had a whiff of it when I got it for free with the magazine that I bought. The smell is warm, citrus, but also have a musk smell to it. Idk which ingredients exactly that makes this perfume one of a kind, but I just can't get the same smell anywhere! Also, somehow, the smell reminds me of money and 'rich-lifestyle' LOL. Give it a try you surely won't regret it!

By far, the BEST perfume I've ever smelled
Ever since I first received a free mini tester from a magazine about 12 years ago, I've fallen in love with this perfume so much! The smell is just one of a kind, I can't pinpoint the exact ingredient that I like from this perfume (is it patchouli? Freesia? Musk? Woody?) but it's a smell that is complex and beautiful. For some reason, the smell also reminds me of 'freshly printed money' LOL. It is a warm, delicate and sensual smell. I'm really glad that this website still sells this product! However, be careful when handling the bottle though. Not sure was it because of my recklessness or something else, but I once packed it in my duffle bag for travelling and when I got home, the neck of the bottle had easily broken off from the bottle, which was a terrible waste since I'd just bought that perfume at the time.

This perfume is dead gorgeous by itself! I myself own too many perfumes than any person should ever own, but it is what it is :) I have perfumes that I loved or didn't totally love but they just sat there because of boredom of the same same,. Well, I spray this perfume with any perfume that I own, and it switches it up to a unique, not smell like anyone else . The silage is perfect! Long lasting. Granted its not on the lower end of the price, but, I say its worth every penny!

Heaven in a bottle!
I love the grapefruit. I had forgotten how beautiful this perfume was as my sister in law used to wear it in the early 1980s. She passed away 2 years ago and for whatever reason I decided I also would purchase. I got it for a steal of a deal on fragranceX the packaging was professionally boxed with bubble wrap I have no complaints. Fragrans X is the only place I will buy my perfume.
