Released in 2016 and designed by the perfumer Nathalie Lorson, this updated scent wears well throughout the year. It shines its best when worn on daytime adventures, whether they take place in the boardroom or at a bistro. Moderate longevity and sillage keep your presence noticed without being ostentatious. The perfume pyramid is a refined weaving of floral notes that delight the senses and leave those around you wanting more. The top notes are magnolia and bergamot. The heart notes feature frangipani, freesia and jasmine. The base notes include vanilla and sandalwood.

The history of the French Van Cleef & Arpels luxury goods company dates back to 1896. The brand released their first fragrance in 1978, the legendary First for Women. Hey everyone, Nicole here. And today, I'll be reviewing So First by Van Cleef & Arpels. This 2016 release's a celebration of the original Van Cleef & Arpels fragrance first, which launched in 1976. Vanilla dominates the scent, supported by top notes of bergamot and magnolia, hard notes of ylang ylang, fraser, and jasmine, and a base note of sandalwood. I recommend it for any season but winter.
