Here’s Everything to Know About Beyoncé’s Upcoming Fragrance

Get your perfume shelf ready, because Beyoncé is coming for the crown. The music legend just teased her forthcoming fragrance and based on the the list of notes and the outline of the bottle, we can already tell it’s going to be incredible.

Bey didn’t share too many details about her most recent foray into the fragrance world; it’s her first since 2010, when she dropped her initial scent, the gourmand Heat, and its many flankers, as well as the warm floral Rise.

This news is beyond exciting for perfumistas and fragrance fans, but we have just one question: How did she find the time to develop a perfume while traveling the world on her Renaissance tour? The tour kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10 and ends in October in Kansas City, Missouri.

Here’s everything you need to know about Beyoncé’s upcoming fragrance launch.

What is Beyoncé’s new fragrance called?

We’re not sure! Bey teased the scent on her official website but didn’t note the official name of the scent; it’s currently just called Eau de Parfum, which could potentially be the super-simple name of the scent, but it’s a big TBD for now.

What does Beyoncé’s new fragrance smell like?

According to her website, Bey’s scent was created in France and includes top notes of clementine and golden honey; heart notes of rose absolute and jasmine sambac; and a base of Namibian myrrh and golden amber. Gorgeous, right? It sounds like a lush warm floral with a slightly spicy base, and given that it’s Beyoncé, she likely has a team of top-notch, expert perfumers hard at work capturing her vision.

When will Beyoncé’s perfume be available?

The scent is currently available for pre-order exclusively on Beyoncé’s website. It will begin shipping in November 2023.

How much does Beyoncé’s fragrance cost?

The scent retails for $160 and is an eau de parfum, a more concentrated and longer-lasting formulation than an eau de toilette or cologne.

What does the bottle look like?

That’s also a big TBD, as the teaser is just an outline of a square bottle with stairstep detail on the neck and a circular cap. Bey’s site says the juice is “encased in art,” which means it’s likely going to be a gorgeous addition to your perfume rotation. Will it match the silver disco aesthetic of the Renaissance era or something else entirely?
