Acqua Di Parma Colonia Assoluta Cologne by Acqua Di Parma, First release in 2003, Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta is a radiant aromatic citrus fragrance that is at once exuberant and utterly refined, designed to be worn by men or women. The top notes are a brisk, invigorating blend of cleansing lemon verbena, elegantly bitter and lightly sour bergamot and a deliciously oscillating pairing of sweet and bitter orange, honeyed yet tart. The heart notes are a kaleidoscopic fusion of complementary accords, deliciously balanced between creamy yellow and white florals, spice and wood. Narcotic jasmine, rose-tinged pink pepper and rich banana-toned ylang-ylang mingle with pimento, aromatic cardamom and the bitter chocolate and smoke facets of vetiver. The dry down is a satiating synthesis of earthy patchouli, cedarwood and musk, wreathed in the woody, velvety tones of resin and oak moss.

Acqua di Parma is an Italian perfume house first established in 1916. House fragrances were made in collaboration with Alberto Morillas, Melanie Carestia, Francoise Caron, Bertrand Duchaufour, Francis Kurkdjian, Antoine Maisondieu, Francois Demachy and Jean-Claude Ellena. Wonderful aroma and lingers ever so lovely. Suitable for both gender and all occasions. I was informed that this was discontinued from AdP, but somehow FX does outstanding work to keep this fragrance in the stock. It is similar to Colonia, but IMHO red pepper and bit of dark sweet note make world of difference. The difference is not an oomph, it is just subtle yet significant charisma. Some people say it is bit more synthetic which I could not agree, but the opinion is out there.

Good for any occasion

I have been using this product over a decade and I do not get tired of it. It could be just me, but the scent seemed to changed a little bit over the years, but denominator remained enough. I have heard many rumors that this is completely discontinued... it will come back... Regardless, I wish it makes a comeback

Float like a butterfly but no sting

I bought it as a blind buy. It has an acquired aroma. Seems like I've smelled it before but im not sold on it at all. It has a lingering freshness (citrus) just not enough to hold.

acqua di parma

This perfume has a unique smell and i usually spray it on scarfs as well.I will recommend Aqua Di Parma perfumes for there pleasant smell and i will try other perfumes from there range in the future.
