Hey there, everyone. Nicole here. And today, I'll be reviewing Bracken Woman by Amouage. This scent was launched in 2016 alongside a men's version and is best described as a woody aromatic scent. It opens with notes of fern and wild berries-- very appropriate to the name-- before leading into heart notes of chamomile, leather, narcissus, and lilies. Finally, in the base, green and woodsy notes of vetiver, patchouli, and birch finish things off. Get this discontinued gem before it's gone!

This is a strong green scent with herbal-sweet florals (chamomile, narcissus). It's complex and the notes develop over time as you wear it. It's very long-lasting.

Mish Mash of Different Notes

This sample I ordered did not smell good. It was a synthetic mish mash of notes that seemed to contradict each other. There was no distinct direction, just a mixture of many notes. It also smelled like expired, old perfume. Not sure if this is how the scent is supposed to smell or if this is was in fact too old.

I adore it

Bracken Woman assaults the senses with berries and chamomile, then a sexy and powerfully feminine lily rises from a dense thicket of forest green patchouli/chamomile madness. Smoky leather and vetiver soften the accord over time, and after about 10 hours, I get a sense of dense, shaded ivy on a spring morning, refreshing and sweet. Sillage is moderate, longevity is perfect.

My favorite!!!

I love this fragrance so much. My friend recomended it to me and I am so happy she did! I get so many compliments. The price was so good and the shipping was so quick. LOVE !!!!!
