Over the top floral. To me, not a men's scent. It reminds me of Chanel no. 5 for women. Smells like a funeral home. Pretty disappointed.

Worth every scent!
I've worn this for casual outing and evening occasions; perfect for any time. A little goes a long way. Soft aroma with an intense punch. Appropriate for the young man and the mature man. Have purchased other Amouage fragrances. This one was my first……and I have not been disappointed.

I declare myself a fan of this perfume house. It has scents that blow my mind, especially the darker ones or the ugly ducklings in its collection. There are these other styles of heavier, oriental, exotic perfumes like Gold, the truth is that this along with Imitation, Reflection, Myths and Lyrics, are perfumes that are very beautiful, extraordinary, but for my personal taste they border on the feminine. Gold reminds me of a perfume my mom used in the 80's "Charlie", I respectfully make this comment. Obviously there is a gulf of difference in terms of quality and depth. In its output I notice a lot the rose and jasmine, with an amber background and with a very faint animalic touch, which gives it consistency and depth. It is an aroma not for anyone, I see it for colder seasons since it is quite powerful, projects and lasts a long time.

Heady,heroic & haunting
Temple incense,veiled Houris,expert seductions and very virile in a confident but not arrogant way.I've had women and some men come up to me just to sniff and gasp in public at the Sydney Opera House.A little goes a long way so don't overdose or the audience will gag.
