Aquolina is a fragrance brand founded by Italian cosmetics company Selectiva in 2001. It is one of the first to introduce the gourmand trend with sweet fragrances centered around sugar and chocolate. The nose for the brand’s fragrances is Shyamala Maisondieu, a Givaudan perfumer who trained in Grasse and Argenteuil. Selectiva is owned by the Paglieri Group, which started in 1876 as a fragrance, cosmetics, and skin care producer. The company has since expanded into household cleaning products. Exotic smoky gem with woody notes and a hint of sugar
Oooh I love this. To me this is heavy on the cedar, softened with vanilla, sweetened with a bit of pink sugar and made very rich and intoxicating with incense. It projects very well and is very long lasting. The sweet vanilla sugar is an echo of the original pink sugar which I also love. Exotic....wear this with your jangly silver bracelets or go chic with it. It is a fall winter fragrance. There is something irresistable with the touch of sweet pink sugar combined with the exotic woods and incense. This is a strong fragrance...2 sprays are enough...less is more

Too Overpowering
Had liked the Pink Sugar Sensual, and even the Pink Sugar is ok, but I really did not like this scent. It's much too strong and smells like liquified sandalwood incense. Not impressed, I certainly won't buy any fragrances again without testing beforehand!

Black Sugar
Unfortunately I was very disappointed by this one. Due to the popularity of the original pink sugar I was hoping that this one would hit the mark but I found it very unpleasant from the initial spray to the dry down.

Wasn't for me
This scent just wasn't for me. I really don't like the dry down it smelled to much like black twizzlers. I had to shower again to get rid of the scent.

An exquisite scent
What a glorious surprise this perfume was! It's incredibly sensuous & different - and yet quite cheap. Perfection. I hope they never stop making this!

Very dark and sensual
This is a must try. It's dark & deep but not overpowering. You have to try it and smell it through it's stages as it changes. It's a very sexy perfume. LOVE shopping at FragranceX!!
