Sweet with a bit of spice
Personally when I tried my first spray on, I already thought the scent was a bit too overpowering, with a bit of burnt vanilla smell. Many people say if you like "Rochas Man" You'd like this one, its similar because it has that vanilla scent in it, the only thing I did't like about it is the toasted vanilla smell. Getting comments about it smelling like you've been smoking, or your wear "that perfume" which those smokers try to cover their smoke smell with. Its great for its value, could possibly wear it in most occasions depending on your personal preference, I'd prefer sticking with Rochas Man though.

The most important thing about Blue Sugar is the smell lasts a long time and it mixes with just about any person's body chemistry. I liked it the first time my son wore it and he got several compliments. We have been buying Blue Sugar for 5 or more years. Please keep Blue Sugar available because this makes an easy gift for anytime such as Birthday,Christmas,welcome home gift.

Sweet, awesome and different
My 32-year-old bro loves it - it's very long-lasting, the smell is a bit powdery/sweet at first, but then you feel woody/spicy notes. It's so different from other colognes! My bro likes classic style in everything but this scent is his favourite now:)

A burst of sweet butterscotch that isn't too overpowering and gets a few compliments. Different to the rest and finally a mens fragrance that has no notes of Pea-Beau fly spray as many seem to be going towrds these days.

Great scent! Different and alluring!
This scent is different and guys shouldn't shy away from it. If you are tired of the sporty/citrus scents, then try this one. I would suggest using it sparingly because a little goes a long way. You will def. get noticed with this cologne. If you are not the adventurous type then you should stick to a scent that you are used to wearing.

It can be used as a daily cologne but I would probably advise to keep it for special occasions. It is VERY sweet smelling..very much like cotton candy (as other reviews have stated). Overall it is a great casual scent that makes for a nice change of pace from typical "manly" scents.

Awesome
This cologne is definitely a gourmand. When I first applied it, I thought it was slightly like Angel by Thierry Mugler. The major difference, I think, is that this fragrance is more rounded-out, more thought-out, and better executed (and I never thought I would find myself saying that since I like Angel quite a lot). Blue Sugar, to me, smells like a delicious, bright golden sugar cookie times 10, with a clear crystal river running off in the background. The river is more of a feeling than an actual scent, by the way. It's very crisp, very sweet, very bright/warm, and very comforting. Another word to describe it is pure. These types of fragrances, especially Angel, has a tendency to smell burnt and can even seemingly burn your nose when you smell it. Blue Sugar has a slight dark caramel smell when you first apply it, but that calms down once the fragrance settles on your skin. After that, it's pure heaven! I think this fragrance is excellent for anytime wear; I wear it to work, I wear it when I go out. It's different enough from all of the others like it that you can't really confuse it with anything else. My significant other simply loves it when I have it on. It seems to make people more comfortable around me, too. If you like sweet vanilla with a hint of bright light, this is your fragrance.

Very Sweet
Had I smelled this fragrance in the store there is no way I would have bought it; however, for the price that I did buy it on fragrancex it was worth a try. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because i'm not used to smelling sweet. I did get a few compliments, and I have to say that it's a different smell that I don't mind trying. It's very sweet and does last about mid-afternoon if applied in the morning.

Youthful fragrance
I wouldn't recommend this fragrance for older men. But for the young and adventurous, this is the perfect mix of energy and freshness. It does have a floral tone to it, so as other reviewers point out it can be a unisex fragrance too but there is a subtle masculinity in the smell you notice only after awhile. So great for young men, and perhaps older women.
