dirty musky rose
What is it about fragrances with rose and saffron? They knock me out! And among the rose/saffron perfumes Calligraphy Rose is a knock out!

Sunshine and beeswax
Calligraghy saffron reminds me of some of my dad's beekeeping equipment, beeswax, pollen, bits of plants and a bunch of other Bee related scents. Not sweet or gourmand. I like to wear it for myself when I'm keeping quiet on my own.

Gourmandish and sweet
I'm a guy and this is blind buy for me after reading good review of this frag. I love eastern scent especially the gourmand accord. The saffron here is kinda subtle but noticeable . The fragrance is linear but last longer about 6-8 hours on me. Layer this to any gourmandish and floral scent esp rose or jasmine, and you will be surprised by the result. I'm getting the rose version o this line.

A perfume that captures the essence of saffron...
This is the first perfume I have come across that truly captures the smell of saffron.

This is similar to Calligraphy Rose which I also bought and love, A very high quality unique perfume, like a Middle East bazaar selling exotic sweets and spices,very comforting, good for yoga

Beautiful fragrance
A great fragrance in the sadly discontinued Calligraphy range - more camomile than saffron, though saffron is certainly there. It's quite different from Calligraphy Rose, though they both have a rose note. I often wear this fragrance out to dinner, as it goes well with food.

With this one I completed my aramis calligraphy line , the first 10 min of this one is very confusing, after that it's start to settle down and each note take it place . Nice take on saffron note its absolutely deferent than any saffron fragrance you ever smell . This one is hard to describe , you need to smell and you will understand what I mean but after all is very nice and am happy with it.

Lovely warm scent
This is a lovely scent, warm and sensoual. However, the saffron note is a bit weak, it's the marigold that shows off in the perfume.
