Black Purple Cologne by Atelier Flou, Black Purple is a men’s Oriental woody cologne with fresh spicy, woody, and aromatic main accords. Stored in a grey steel flacon that resembles a lighter, the scent has moderate longevity and soft to moderate sillage. The top notes are moss, bergamot, and patchouli. Nutmeg and rosemary middle notes follow and liatris, ambergris, and vetiver base notes complete this composition. Atelier Flou is a luxury French perfume house based in Paris and founded by Jean-Francois Cabos in 2009. He has worked with perfumer Jacques Chabert on the brand’s scents. Prior to Atelier Flou, Cabos was the head of Balenciaga’s fashion division before Gucci’s purchase of the Spanish brand. Chabert had previously worked for Chanel and Guerlain.
