The Nuptial Bouquet Perfume by Atkinsons, The Nuptial Bouquet by Atkinsons is a striking combination of floral and musky accords. Introduced in 2013, this fragrance uses notes from all of the flowers that Queen Victoria carried in her bouquet during her wedding to Albert. The perfume opens with notes of violet leaves and myrtle flowers, giving a fresh green cast to the opening. Atkinsons Perfumes was founded by James Atkinson in 1799. Originally from northern England, he opened his shop in London, where he sold perfumes that he had created. His perfumes were a new English type of perfume, markedly different from the Italian version that was popular at the time. In 1826, King George Iv appointed him Perfumer to the Royal Court, and from there, Atkinson’s fame was widespread. The brand was relaunched in 2013, after being discontinued for many years.
