Sometimes it is smell nicely,sometimes it is smell very" metallic " note from my skin...But I like this perfume in general. SO if you like something floral, woody,powder and little bit spicy...,trying this one.

I bought this thinking it had a lovely bottle but looks are deceiving, When you first spray it on, the scent is nice but after the dry down, it smells cheap or old woman scent.

I absolutely love this perfume, it is one that you wear and cannot smell on yourself, however, draws compliments from others. It is hard to find to buy and Fragrance X stocks it and its price is very very good. Good enough to wear everyday and everywhere.

I've been using this fragrance for years and it's as lovely now as it ever was. It's soft and warm and perfect for winter although I have used it on a summer evening and it wasn't overpowering at all. I'd recommend it to all age groups.

Powerful classic Chypre with hints of Oriental warmth
Mouthwatering peach-apricot note called Osmanthus just makes this a gem! Smells very expensive and yet its not on Fragrance X. So many earthy herbal notes expertly blended with florals and a nice subtle Tangerine that lifts the earthiness. I have nothing like this in my collection. It has a dryness and detached yet alluring sexiness. Chypre lovers will swoon for this and if you love vintage perfumes, this is a winner. Another Aubusson perfume called Desirade has the Osmanthus note too - something mesmerising and bewitching to me. If perfume is about mood, this is for a confident older sexy independent woman. Great for walking outdoors in nature and also intimate enough for a romantic rendez-vous. Spray carefully - this last for hours. Making it fantastic value in every way. The bottle is amazing too! - so retro and ornate.

Classical sophisticated scent
Histoire d'amour is a sophisticated elegant smell. However, I was disappointed that it was not a 'unique' scent. Too me, it is a mainstream oriental scent. Histoire d'amour 2 however, is a sparkling flowery scent which I prefer much more than the classical Histoire d'amour described here.
