Revisting the Fragrance and Review
As an addendum to a prior, maybe overly harsh review, Azzaro Solarissimo Levanzo actually smells pretty nice. It is fairly weak, so it needs heavy to very heavy application to be much appreciated for very long; that does affect the value calculation. Before, I called the scent "flabby", but I've realized I enjoy other flabby fragrances—for example, Franck Olivier's Eau de Passion Men, with which there are similarities in the mids and dry-downs—so that need not be a deal-breaker. Modifying the recommendation to "Yes"—with the caveats listed in this and other reviews—and 3.5 stars.

Sorely Lacking: Solarissimo Levanzo By Azzaro
The initial spray—before the droplets evaporate—is the brief high point of this fragrance for me. That's the tiny point in time in which there is enough balancing acidity or astringency. The rest is a descent into a flabby, synthetic sweetness . . . something like a Play-Doh accord with notes of bubblegum and mosquito repellent. (That stuff subsides in the late-drydown to die-down . . . about one-and-a-half hours in, in my experience.) It isn't horrible; it doesn't offend me, but virtually everything else (Cremo Citrus and Mint Leaf is killing it on the other arm, staying citric and fresh) is more appealing. (Think I'll see if I can pass the remaining 47 ml of Solarissimo Levanzo along.) As ever, your mileage may vary.

Great Fresh Scent for the Price
This an excellent fragrance for the price – fresh, clean, and a bit green. Performance is moderate but perhaps expected given that it is a fresh scent and the price point; just spray a few extra sprays and you are good for a few hours (I'd say 3–4 on my skin).

Hidden (Green) Gem!
I blind bought this after watching the description and recommendation for this, and this is definitely a hidden gem (especially at the price point). Very green, citrusy, with a little spice. This has a great Mediterranean blend of herbaceous and citrus notes, while having a nice rounded aromatic and woody attributes. This isn't the most "natural" smelling but it's not overly synthetic either. Not super strong in projection with decent, but not great longevity. Easily worth it at this price if you like green and/or citrus fragrances.

Nice smelling Scent but very Light
This scent is a good smelling scent but very weak and only lasts about 30 minutes with a very mild projection and very light, if any sillage. It may be good for snuggling but nothing else.
