Was excited when I found a website that carried Modern by Banana Republic. This does not smell anything like the original I bought at the store. And sadly they do not carry it anymore in their stores.

too musky for my liking.
so I bought this because I am trying to slowly venture off into notes other than strong, heady patchouli. noticed this has patchouli in the base, along with amber and sandalwood? I'm going to be honest, I dont smell patchouli at allllll. kind of bums me out, but I guess it'll help me get out of my fragrance comfort zone. this one is fresh, clean... but mainly all I get from this one is the musk. I try to avoid any perfume with musk altogether because for ME, it is a highly overpowering note and therefore becomes all I can pick up in said perfume. it is pretty but I would wear it strictly for daytime or summer use... may be a good work perfume. not strong projection or sillage at all. which may work well for some ladies!
