The brand was launched by Bijan Pakzad and his partner, Dar Mahboubi, in 1976. They opened their first boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills to huge success. The boutique very quickly became known for its fashionable and elite clientele. Many famous men have donned the luxurious men’s brand, including Tony Blair, Tom Cruise and Barack Obama. The designer released his first fragrances for men and women in 1987 and the men’s perfume won the FiFi award for men’s fragrance of the year. The talented fashion designer was known for his extravagant taste. He owned a custom Mercedes and Rolls Royce and even partnered with Rolls Royce in 2010 to design custom editions of their automobiles. The fragrance base now holds 20 different perfumes, each one as unique and enchanting as the designer himself. All products are original, authentic name brands.
