Bois 1920 Nagud Perfume by Bois 1920, A complicated and passionate fragrance, Bois 1920 Nagud was introduced to the world in 2015 and continues to delight today. Starting at the bottom, the fragrance is based around vanilla absolute, sandalwood, incense, ambergris and white musk accord for a very smooth finish. The heart notes are made up of a floral arrangement of jasmine, ylang ylang, Turkish rose and geranium, all kept together by myrrh. At the forefront, the top notes are citrusy and clean with bergamot, lemon and red fruits, along with a subtle note of saffron.

Started in 1920 in a small workshop in Florence, Bois 1920 has continued to create unique fragrances for those with a discerning nose. The company was started by Guido Galardi who worked with different fragrances and essential oils as much as he could, and he passed this passion down to his family. The family still makes the fragrances to this day, with Enzo Galardi crafting this perfume. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Hidden Gem

Nagud was a blind buy for me. When I saw the price, then looked up the notes I decided it was worth the risk. Turns out, I was right! It's a beautiful, dark, balsamic rose and incense perfume that is deeply satisfying for the rose lover in me. The opening is slightly sharp and bright with some citrus and rose, at this stage the rose is fresh, sweet, almost clean smelling. After a few minutes, clouds of incense smoke start to gather and the scent grows darker. Now the rose deepens into a fruity syrup of petals. Here it also becomes more woody, balsamic and resinous, giving me the sense of both smoldering incense and unburned resins, particularly myrrh. This is where the development stops and I spend the next few hours in incense/rose bliss. My only gripe is that it doesn't last long enough, I get maybe 4 to 6 hours on the skin. The projection is rather soft during the last couple of hours too.
