Bois 1920 was initially a company founded by Guido Galardi in 1920, specializing in formulas made from Florence lavender. “Bois” is an acronym for Bottega Italiana Spigo, which translates to “Italian Lavender Workshop.” This company ceased operations in 1925. In 2005, Galardi’s grandson, Enzo, who had twenty years of experience in the perfumer industry at this point, relaunched the company as a niche perfume house with the intent of reinterpreting his grandfather’s formulas, using raw materials. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Not a 0creamy Sandalwood.
I've tried a an official sample of this. Imagine Lelabo's Santal 33 (dry fresh Sandalwood) with less depth and added vague floral notes.

Sweet Tobacco
I was disappointed by this,being such a lover of sandalwood and not finding much of that note in this creation. All I got was straight tobacco,tangy and sweet. This might be better suited for a man.

Womens section?
Bois 1920 has been my signature cologne for about 5 years now. Sandalo E The and Real Patchouli have been my signature scents for several years now. Im always getting compliments about how good it smells without being overpowering. Unfortunately, the place I used to buy it from locally no longer carries it. Even though its in the women's section, the Bois 1920 line is pretty much unisex, with the exception of a select few, most of Bois' line is very masculine. Another plus is one bottle can last up to 3 years if you use it conservatively. So in the end, the price is actually pretty fair when all is said and done. One squirt will last pretty much all day! I cannot recommend this scent (and Real Patchouli) enough. 5 stars out of 5. And on top of that, even with overnight shipping, it was still $30 cheaper from the store I used to buy it at!
