One of my favourites
Hello dear Reader😊. The first time I sprayed this I thought woooah😯! I hadn't smelled anything like it before, it is so different to my other perfumes. My nostrils were hit with a deep warm smokiness, a little like walking into an 17th century oak panelled room filled with pipe and cigar smoke, then very soon after on the dry down I get aromas of leather, dark sweet coffee and a tang of smoky spice. It is a very unique scent I think which you may love or hate. The notes are so well blended, it is very powerfully smoky on the first spray, in fact so smoky I wasn't initially sure about it, but then I think that was because I wasn't used to this type of scent. It dries so beautifully though and gives just enough warmth and smokiness with a hint of sweet dark spices. Is very difficult to describe any perfume though isn't it, we may like the notes on paper but it may smell yuck on our skin! so the only way to find out whether you will love something is to try a tester..... and I must admit dear Reader, I have gone through quite a few testers to find only a handful that I love, most of which are from the Bond No 9 collection. When I wear New Bond Street I always receive compliments, is one of my favourites🥰🍂
