Violetta Di Parma Perfume by Borsari, Borsari introduced Violetta di Parma in 1970. Violet is the prominent note in the fragrance, providing the blend with a sweet and powdery quality. Notes of iris, rose and jasmine enhance the violet. Base notes of vanilla and cedar add depth and round out the blend. The elegant perfume is excellent for daytime wear and will enchant you with its beauty and sophistication.

Violetta di Parma is a modern-day interpretation of the famous perfume created for Napoleon Bonaparte’s wife, Duchess Maria Luigia. The Duchess had a fondness for violets and always included an image of the flower in her signature. The founder of Borsari acquired the formula, which was first made by monks, for the Duchess’ fragrance and shortly thereafter began to offer the perfume to the general public. The original perfume used distilled violet to give the blend its sweet, slightly powder scent. The modern fragrance is similar to the original blend and still showcases the natural beauty of the violet. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Also I prefer this perfume unsprayed, when spritzed I notice more sweet smell.

Perfume is wonderful, but doesn't last .

I love the smell, but an hour later, you can't smell it, or it is so faint, people don't know what kind I have on. Beautiful bottle and packaging.

lovely light scent

I have been using this product daily since I received it. I really like the scent. I use about 5 sprays in the morning. The scent is light and it lingers. It really smells like violets. The product arrived as scheduled and it was exactly like in the picture. I was very impressed and will definitely order again soon.

Bad shipping service

Using USPS and some offbeat tracking service combined insure that delivery wouldbe late. 2 1/2 weeks into the transaction and still no delivery. USPS won't be responsible for its mistakes and I can't track it with your plan,

Love, love love it!

This is my signature fragrance. It has a wonderful violet scent without being too powdery or like grandma's underwear drawer. It is subtle, which may be a downside for some people. I frequently get compliments on it--people will hug me and then say "Gosh, you smell so nice!". As others have commented on it, boyfriends can't get enough of it:).

There is basically no smell to this talc perhaps it is old material. Very disappointed
