Sotirios Voulgaris began his career in the jewelry industry, and after moving to various locations, such as Corfu, Naples and Rome, he founded his own company, Bvlgari, in 1884. With assistance from his sons, the brand's flagship store opened in 1905. The brand developed a reputation all over the world, and over the course of a few decades, the company would go on to open locations in Geneve, New York and Monte Carlo.
Alberto Morillas developed many fragrances for this brand, including Man in Black Essence cologne. Morillas was awarded the Prix Francois Coty in 2003 for his work in the perfume industry. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Bvlgari Man in Black Essence it is a nice spicy oriental fragrance for gents created by the master perfumer Alberto Morillas. Although it is advertise as essence/eau de parfum it is not an overpowering scent. For me, Man in Black Essence is a linear, sweet, woody, powdery, oriental perfume with noticeable notes of rum, cacao beans, woods and tonka beans. It smells elegant and it's more suitable for night time and cold season wear. This sensual aroma comes packed in a beautiful bottle.

Similar to Man in Black with the spiciness tamed and the boozyness and almost leather like resins amped up. Masculine and slightly sensual. A full blown winter class of fragrance. Very well blended.
