Bvlgari Selima Perfume by Bvlgari, Bvlgari Selima is one of three perfumes in the 2015 Le Gemme Orientali collection, created by master perfumer Daniela Roche Andrier to evoke the Arabian peninsula. Selima is inspired by the cornelian, an orange, red, and brown mineral that is used as a precious gem to symbolize peace, life, and abundance. Because the name Selima means peace and tranquility in Arabic, Andrier sought to capture calmness and richness in this scent. This Oriental Spicy women’s fragrance has top notes of saffron and spices and floral rose heart center notes. Date fruit provides more spice in the base notes.

The flacons in the 2015 Le Gemme collection continue the tradition of the previous 2014 versions, using the same Greco-Roman antique amphorae as influences. The red of the bottle top matches the warmth and energy of the stone and the spicy elements of the scent.
