Byblos Terra Perfume by Byblos, Launched in 1997, Byblos Terra is a soft, floral citrus fragrance for women. Top notes of lemon, mandarin and orange give the scent a quick juicy, bracing opening burst. Violet and galbanum soften the tanginess with an earthy accord with hints of green and powder.
The heart notes blossom with a bouquet of spicy carnation and freesia. The sweet white floral aroma is balanced with the light, clean properties of cyclamen and the seductive perfume of roses. Base
notes are a smooth, hazy blend of sandalwood and heliotrope. Cedar and orris root lend their woody starch notes that linger on the skin.
Established as a division of Genny SpA in 1973, Byblos caters to optimistic, joyful youths. Travel, color and movement inspire clothing lines as well as the fragrances that followed. Renown fashion designers such as Gianni Versace and Guy Paulin have held the reins of this popular Italian brand. There 37 perfumes in the fragrance collection. BYBLOS TERRA
As a big fan of the original Byblos fragrance, I was curious about all the variations I have never seen in the USA---The top note of Elementi Terra is very much like Chanel's Cristalle--bright, fresh and sparkling--mid note becomes warmer and earthier with the green galbanum note and fresh florals --dry down is slightly spicy and warm and the overall effect is clean, warm and subtle. Great scent for warm weather---silage is a little weak, though--will need to be re-applied often
