It's an interesting smell, unique
I love this but I think there are other smells from Byredo worth buying before this one! Gypsy Water, Rose Noir, Black Saffron and Biblioteque all smell a little more different and unique than this one, Slow Dance reminds of a Guerlain perfume that I believe is called Le Petit Robe Noir so instead of spending 300++ maybe smell that one first.
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend to a friend.
