Calypso Christiane Celle is the fragrance line that was active between 1996 and 2004. Designer Christiane Celle founded Calypso in St. Barth in 1992. With photographer Antoine Verglas, the shop evolved into a Carribean-inspired resort wear brand in 1995, with Celle acting as chief executive officer and head designer until 2007, when Celle and Verglas sold their majority stake in the company to Solera Capital, a private equity investment firm.
