François Coty, Born Joseph Marie François Spoturno, founded his self-named company in 1904. Before founding his perfume brand he moved to Paris when he became of age, and began studying perfumery while working as a secretary. The brand’s first fragrance was launched in 1905 and became a national bestseller, earning him millions of dollars. Today the brand has nearly 100 fragrances in its collection and features collaborations with perfumers such as Harry Fremont, Ann Gottlieb, and Bernard Chant. The most recent fragrance was released in 2014. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

It's for a gift
I am from Trois-Rivières in Québec and now it's impossible to buy this parfume anywhere, I don't know why; so it's a gift for a birthday's friend in next november, so I don't know this product...she told me to appreciate this parfume, so I thought to your company and I was true, you gotten it...thank you and see you later.

My favorite
I first discovered Roots while visiting "Canada" in Epcot (Disney World 2002). Once I sampled the scent, was hooked. Ironiclly, a few years ago, I met a gal who happened to be wearing Spirit at the same time I was wearing Roots. No one sells them in stores where we live... I'm re-ordering Roots tonight, as well as Sprirt (for 1st time). I can't tell you how awesome it is to have a favorite scent that comes at such a bargain price!

Smells great!
Just got this scent - it is clean smelling with a slightly floral tint. It is not overpowering at all, but seems to last all day quite well. People would not smell it unless pretty close by. I like that it is not expensive and I haven't noticed many other people wearing it. I thought I would like the Roots Spirit better and bought both, but find that I like this one much more.
