King George Iii was thrilled with his scented leather gloves, and this led to the first house fragrance, Royal English Leather. In 1854 the company relocated to Paris, France, to be closer to the center of perfumery. In 1970 Olivier Creed, the 6th generation to run the perfume house, began selling perfumes to the public.
