This Is Not What Petrichor Smells Like
I love the smell of petrichor and I was super excited to try this and unfortunately it doesn't smell ANYTHING like it. The first spray is very alcoholic and then as it dries down it's very powerful and completely nauseating. I have never hated a perfume as much as this. To me it smells like an old factory that makes plastic, metal and paint that's overrun with mouldy bioharzardous algae. I had to wash it off as soon as I sprayed it and the scent was so strong and prominent that I spent 10 mins scrubbing my arm red raw and then a long shower just to get the stretch off me. Made my stomach twist into knots and ruined petrichor for me a little. Was really weird because at the time it was just starting to rain and they were nothing alike. Hideous and I want it out of my house and never to think of it again.

Rather Subtle
Really useful when you want to wear a unique scent but not overpower people. Thunderstorm is similar but a bit too strong and more chemically. Its top notes are quite fruity but settles down to the earthy fresh scent of post rainfall hot earth/ garden. Does not last very long, but long enough to pique the interest of people you meet.
