Demeter was founded in 1996 by Pennsylvania family members Christopher Gable and Christopher Brosius. The pair was inspired to create single-note fragrances that evoke specific lifetime memories. The company, which is still family-owned, has released more than 375 single-note scents drawn from the world around us, including both manmade and natural fragrances. The company’s name was taken from the Greek goddess of agriculture, with mythology themes suffusing many of their fragrances. All products are original, authentic name brands.
