A company with over 300 fragrances, Demeter was created in 1996 by Christopher Brosius and Christopher Gable. Needed a Break from Floral Scents, Love This!
Sometimes I want a floral fragrance, sometimes a green-note or spicy-note fragrance. Other times, I just want something casual, light, and unique. This Salt Air cologne is perfect for that. Not sweet, not cloying, not overpowering. It DOES smell like the ocean air during a day at the beach. I was born and raised in SoCal, have lived in Arizona for decades. This scent takes me back in time to when my family went to the beach often during the summer. I likely won't wear this as a main or dressy fragrance but as a casual spring/summer pick-me-up scent, like when I'm bumming around the house or running errands. It isn't long-lasting, which is my only complaint. But overall, wearing it makes me smile when I catch whiffs of it.

Lovely fragrance but otherwise disappointing.
I love the smell, but, it is so oily to use. My bottle is leaking so it is difficult to hold and use without it leaking all over my hands. Furthermore, when I spray it on, it leaves a film of oil on my skin which is most unpleasant. I have bought two other fragrances from your range and I do hope they are not the same.

I was so excited but this is truly horrible! It just plain stinks. I asked everyone in my family and they all hated it.

My Favorite So Far!
This is super reminiscent of a cool day on a salt water beach (thankfully minus the fishy scent!). It is definitely a fragrance that is very delicate, and not overpowering, so able to be worn for many different occasions. I love it because it reminds me of my early childhood, by the Atlantic Ocean. I will definitely be purchasing this one again, and it's likely going to become my signature scent!

This smells exactly like it says!
This smells exactly like the salty air at the beach! Not the sunscreen smell that most things have that are "beach" smelling. I love this smell and get so many compliments on it. Does not last all day though.

I love this perfume... it smells PRETTY !!!! It makes me smile when I spray it on after a shower or really anytime.. I love to smell fresh it smell..... like if a wild flower were to grow at the beach.. this is what I would say this smells like.

I love it .. I just received today. Om goodness .. May be my new Favorite ! Fresh and lite... the name Salt is perfect... takes me away like I was on a beach... sea... salt... the perfect smell... I will reorder for sure. The price was GREAT too.
