Based in France, the perfume house Diptyque was founded in 1961 by three artists and friends. Yves Coueslant, a set designer, Desmond Knox-Leet, a painter, and Christiane Gautrot, a textile designer, sought to create a line of products that were inspired by their travels around the world. They began with home furnishings and fabrics. In 1968 they launched their first perfume. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.
