Oyedo Perfume by Diptyque, Oyedo is a fruity, feminine perfume that was launched in 2000. The name, and the fragrance, are inspired by the ancient Japanese city of Edo. Each scent that the brand produces has a different label. They are all designed in black and white, with the original address of the company printed in a circle, but every picture is different. This one shows two flowering trees, a likely tribute to the ‘antique Japanese garden’ that the brand likens the scent to. The notes of this fragrance are light and refreshing and consist of yuzu, thyme, green tangerine and raspberry.

Diptyque was founded in Paris, France in 1934. The creative ideas of three friends, Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Gautrot and Yves Coueslant, came together and the brand was born with its first shop opening in 1961. Originally selling printed fabric and furniture, it soon introduced scented candles and face and body products, and the first fragrance was introduced in 1963.
