Volutes Perfume by Diptyque, A profound sensual fragrance launched in 2012, Volutes is full of complex accords of sweetness and spice. The top notes open quickly with the sultry scents of tobacco, honey, and iris with a powdery scent of dried fruit. The middle dashes in with a touch of spice from its notes of hay, immortelle, saffron, pink pepper, and black pepper. The base includes creamy notes of benzoin, opoponax, and myrrh, with the faintest hint of styrax. The sillage is moderate, and the fragrance lasts all day, making this an ideal sweet winter fragrance to add a touch of mystique to your special occasions.

Diptyque began as a small home furnishings store in Paris but found its passion in fragrance when it started to market scented candles. Perfumes were first launched by the company in 1968 based on the popular home fragrances from old England. With the success of these domestic fragrances, the creators were inspired to create more exotic perfumes designed to capture the scents of world voyages. Addictive

Wet stage is the best: thick, unlit tobacco with a shot of whiskey neat nearby. Some people think it smells like cinnamon gum initially. I think it's much more sophisticated than that. I can't detect much Iris, which is a relief. The sweet incense wafts to my nose unexpectedly during the dry down. Not your typical "spicy" perfume. Incredibly smooth and rich. Not at all sharp or spiky. Good stuff.

A modern classic

Wonderful fragrance!A powdery rich spicy tobacco perfume.I find myself wearing this a lot.It lasts forever with excellent sillage.
