The perfume was released in 2011 as part of Dolce & Gabbana’s Velvet Collection. Rodrigo Flores-Roux was the designer, and he sought to embody the rich smoothness of velvet in each piece of the collection. The Velvet Sublime variation is stored in a sharp square glass bottle with a golden-colored cap, and looks wonderful in the black velvet collection box with the rest of the set.
